This book is colorful and fun! It’s truely a “celebration of friendship.” Using different colorful shapes Tom Litchnheld’s illustrations are visual for what a good friend looks like, acts like, and sounds like.

Activity: Check out my FREEBIE activity packet with color pages and activities for a variety of grades. There are also tons of ideas on Pinterest and an cut/color sheet at Scholastic.

This is a great whole class ideas for grades 1 and up to learn more about each other. Students move around the room and fill in each square with a different classmates initials.
