BOOK REVIEW- “15 Min. Focus: Diversity, Bias, and Priveilege”

Being an advocate and a culturally competent counselor is a must, but it can also be hard and a difficult topic to navigate.

That’s why I am really appreciating “15-minute Focus: Diversity, Bias, and Privilege” by National Center for Youth Issues and Dr. Natalie Spencer Gwyn (Author), Robert B. Jamison (Author).

This book is not only full of information but also thought-provoking moments that assist you in your program assessment and personal counseling reflection. Robert and Natalie do a wonderful job helping educators create an inclusive learning environment.

It would be a great summer PD with your school and district staff.
